Viv Easton
Viv is an integrative counsellor qualified in couples and individual therapy and can offer a range of therapeutic interventions to suit the unique needs of each client. She has special interest in working with individuals affected by lasting trauma, anxiety and low self esteem.
When working with couples, Viv offers a systemic approach which highlights the problematic patterns of interaction between couples and how these interactions may be linked to their family of origin/gender/cultural background etc. This is particularly helpful to couples who find that communication between them has broken down and mutual blame is happening, thus putting a strain on wellbeing of the relationship.
Viv has a keen interest in continuous professional development and is constantly learning and updating her skills. Her current interest is in broadening her knowledge about the mind body connection around encoded trauma.
In her spare time Viv loves to practice breath work and mindfulness. She spends lots of time in nature enjoying long walks with her dog Willow. She loves wild beaches and wild swimming though only in the summer! Time with family is important especially playing with her 6 year old grandson!
